The Alumni Meet 2026

The Alumni Meet-2026, named "Samagam," was organized in the sports ground of Shri Ram College.

Today, the "Alumni Meet-2026" was organized in the auditorium of Shri Ram College. Approximately 1020 alumni of the college, who are working in various fields in India and abroad and bringing glory to the college, participated in this program. The Alumni Meet program was divided into two sessions, the first session being the introductory session and the second session being the technical session.The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, Deputy Principal Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Dean Academics Dr. Vineet Kumar Sharma, Dean Management Dr. Saurabh Mittal, and all the alumni (former students) by lighting the lamp.

A cultural program was also organized on this occasion. The cultural program began with a traditional Ganesh Vandana presented by the students of the Polytechnic. After this, the students of the Commerce Department captivated the hearts of the alumni present at the program by performing a dance on the song "Ghoomar-Ghoomar". Following this, the students of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department enthralled everyone with a spectacular performance of Gujarati folk dance on the Gujarati song "Udi Udi Jaye Dil Ki Patang". Akdas, a student of the Bioscience department, captivated the hearts of the guests and students present at the program by singing the song "Woh Ladki Jo Sabse Alag Hai". After this, the students of Business Administration performed a धमाकेदार (spectacular) Punjabi dance and received much applause from all the guests and spectators present in the ground. After this, Crystal Verma attracted the attention of the audience with a special solo dance performance on a Bollywood song. Vanshika, a student of the Computer Applications department, mesmerized everyone with her solo dance. After this, the students of various departments of the college created a devotional atmosphere by performing a dance drama on the "Radha-Krishna Holi" theme. Following this, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication presented an impressive act on the "Rani of Jhansi" musical theme, captivating the audience present in the field. The students of Shri Ram College of Law created a devotional atmosphere by presenting the Sita Swayamvar play. The students of the Department of Fine Arts gave a very captivating group dance performance on the Bhima Pratigya theme. Students of Shri Ram College of Pharmacy presented a musical act on the theme of women's empowerment, "Woh Shakti Hai," promoting women's power. The students of Computer Applications surprised and overwhelmed everyone present in the field with a very impressive dance performance on the musical act "Rakt Charitra" based on the theme of revenge.The first session of this Alumni Meet was an introductory session in which the alumni introduced themselves in detail, shared their experiences in their respective fields, and also reminisced about their emotional memories associated with Shri Ram College. They said that the various things they learned while studying here still help them a lot in their professional lives. Everyone shared their experiences with the current students with great enthusiasm and passion, and the alumni also promised to provide complete support to the college students in the fields of employment and education. To achieve this objective, Shri Ram College also formed a committee of former students.

The second session was a technical session, in which alumni from different departments participated along with the current students and faculty members of the departments. The objective of this session was to introduce the current students to the alumni and to discuss how they can help their juniors in the professional field. Alumni working in different fields told the college students about the challenges they face in the workplace, emphasizing that to secure a strong and stable job in the professional field, it is necessary to develop many skills, abilities, and qualities that can empower them in the workplace. He advised the students to enhance their technical knowledge, stating that in the future, their technical expertise would strengthen their position in their respective fields, providing them with various employment opportunities and enabling them to bring glory to the college at the national and international levels.

On this occasion, the chief guest of the program, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, said that in today's time, along with knowledge, behavior is given more importance, and behavior is developed through interaction and communication with others. To promote this practical knowledge, Shri Ram College organizes an Alumni Meet every year, which certainly inspires current and former students to work together. He expressed his delight that the alumni, after many years, were meeting and reminiscing about the days spent on campus, and also providing information about career opportunities to the new students. He felt immense joy meeting his former students and seeing them in high positions.

Along with providing this, a small initiative was taken to connect the old students with the current students of the college, which has now grown into a huge tree. Our alumni are highly talented and are working in various high positions in their respective fields and providing their services. There are many such students who will surely provide full support to their junior colleagues in the field of education and employment through the policy of "helping hands." He said that project programs will also be organized in the future with the joint cooperation of students from different departments, and this effort of ours will certainly prove to be a milestone in the future.

On this occasion, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shriram College, welcomed all the alumni and said in his address that the college will always remember its former students and also expressed the hope that all the alumni will continue to cooperate wholeheartedly.

In this meet, students who passed out from 2004 till now shared their memories and experiences related to the college and praised this alumni meet organized by the college. Everyone said that this is not just our college, but our family. It is from here that we received education and values, which enabled us to succeed in our lives. The alumni of this college are holding various influential positions.

To make the program a success, Dr. S.N. Chauhan, Director of Shriram Group of Colleges, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shriram College, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shriram College, Vice-Principal Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Devendra Chaudhary, External Admission Coordinator, Neetu Singh, Dean Academics Dr. Saurabh Mittal, Dr. Nishant Rathi, Dr. Vivek Kumar Tyagi, Dr. Pooja Tomar, Dr. Shweta Rathi, Pramod Kumar, along with all the Deans, Heads of Departments and faculty members were present.
