A two-day inter-collegiate Kabaddi tournament (Men's and Women's) for colleges affiliated with Maa Shakumbari University, Saharanpur, was organized at Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. Players from various colleges affiliated with Maa Shakumbari University from different districts participated in the tournament. The chief guest for the Kabaddi (Men's and Women's) tournament was Chandan Chauhan, MP, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Bijnor; Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, was also present. Other distinguished guests included Nikita Sharma, Pramod Kumar Sirohi, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Department, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Preerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College. Dr. Gaurav Baliyan, from Government College, Deoband, Saharanpur, represented Maa Shakumbari University on this occasion
The participating teams in the Kabaddi (Men's and Women's) tournament included teams from Gochar College, Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur; IIMT, Saharanpur; MS College, Saharanpur; Hari College, Saharanpur; Dev Bhoomi, Saharanpur; Disha Bharti, Saharanpur; IPS College, Saharanpur; RK PG College, Shamli; Government Women's College, Kandhla; OPGS Bhajju; SD (PG) College, Muzaffarnagar; and Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. The Kabaddi (Men's and Women's) tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Gaurav Baliyan, representing Maa Shakumbari University, along with the chief guest, Chandan Chauhan, MP, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Bijnor; Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar; and other distinguished guests including Nikita Sharma, Pramod Kumar Sirohi, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Department, Muzaffarnagar, Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education, and the faculty members of the Department of Physical Education.
On this occasion, Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education, stated that Maa Shakumbari University had entrusted the responsibility of organizing the inter-college Kabaddi tournament (men's and women's) to Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. The tournament began with the knockout and league matches for the women's category. Following the knockout matches, the league matches for the women's Kabaddi tournament were held. In the women's Kabaddi tournament, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar secured first place, Gochar College, Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur came second, and Government Women's College, Kandhla, secured third place. As of the time of writing, the league matches for the men's Kabaddi tournament were still in progress. On this occasion, Dr. Preerana Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College, interacted with the players and encouraged the Kabaddi (men's and women's) teams. Those who contributed to the event included Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education at Shri Ram College, and lecturers Bhupendra Kumar, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Amardeep, Prashant Kumar, Tarun Kumar, and Vishwadeep Kaushik, among others.
