17 Students will receive Gold Medal

In the merit list of 73 university toppers released by Maa Shakumbari University, Saharanpur, on the occasion of its third foundation day, 17 students from various faculties of Shri Ram College were awarded gold medals, bringing honor and pride to the college and the district. An award ceremony was held at Shri Ram College to celebrate this achievement. Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, the Chairman of the college, expressed pride in the students' accomplishment, stating that this success is not only a source of pride for the institution but also an honor for the entire district. Congratulating all the students, their parents, and the faculty members, he said that he is confident that these students will continue to achieve new heights in the fields of education, research, and social service in the future, further enhancing the reputation of the college

According to the merit list released by Maa Shakumbari University, students from Shri Ram College have secured positions on the list of gold medal recipients for the upcoming third convocation ceremony to be held on September 20, 2025, at Maa Shakumbari University, Saharanpur. These students include: Jayashree Rana (82.53%) from the Department of Computer Applications (UG), Aafreen (81.66%) from B.Sc. (Microbiology), Palak (80.55%) from BBA, Abushema (77.07%) from BA (Journalism and Mass Communication), Indrabushan Kumar (9.09 CGPA) from B.Sc. (Agricultural Science), Himani Sharma (74.36%) from B.Voc., and Anshika Sharma (74.36%) from another UG program. In the postgraduate programs, Ritika Kapal (89.09%) from B.P.Ed., Keshav Garg (88.70%) from Applied Arts, Mahreen Anjum (88.15%) from M.F.A. (Drawing and Painting), Dushyant Kumar Sharma (88.06%) from M.P.Ed., Ahimsa Jain (85.60%) from M.F.A. (Textile Designing), Nishu Tyagi (85.60%) from M.F.A. (Fashion Designing), Meenakshi (84.55%) from M.Sc. Home Science (Home Management), Mohit Kumar (84.10%) from MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), Kajal Devi (82.00%) from M.Sc. Home Science (Textile and Clothing), and Sapna (8.52 CGPA) from M.Sc. (Chemistry) also secured their places on the gold medal list. The students credited their success to the educational resources and facilities provided by the college, as well as the high-quality books available in the library. Mohit Kumar, the university topper from M.J.M.C., said on this occasion that his success was made possible by studying the books of numerous scholars on the subject in the college library and by the guidance of the faculty members of the department. Keshav Garg, the university topper in M.F.A. Applied Arts, credited his success to the blessings of his parents and the guidance provided by the faculty. He said that while his parents always encouraged him, Shri Ram College also showed him the path to turning his dreams into reality. Mahreen Anjum, the university topper in the M.F.A. Drawing and Painting program, attributed her success to the practical work provided by the department. Nisha Tyagi, the university topper in the M.F.A. Fashion Designing program, credited her success to the academic environment provided by the college and the efforts of the teachers. Ahimsa Jain, a student of M.F.A. Textile Designing, credited her success to her teachers and parents. Meenakshi, the university topper in M.Sc. Home Science (Home Management), said that she had a passion for studies since childhood and wants to build her career in the field of education. Dushyant Kumar Sharma, an M.P.Ed. student, Ritika Kandpal, a B.P.Ed. student, and Sapna, an M.Sc. (Chemistry) student, credited their success to the support of their parents and teachers.

While providing information on this occasion, Dr. Preerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, congratulated the students selected for the gold medals to be awarded at the third convocation ceremony on September 20, 2025, and said that being on the university merit list and receiving an award from His Excellency, the Governor, is a golden moment for every student. She said that the blessings and support of parents are indeed important for the success of students, but the hard work and guidance provided by the college teachers is also invaluable. He stated that the college provides students with both academic knowledge and practical skills, which proves to be valuable for their future.

On this occasion, Dr. Ashok Kumar, the Director of Shri Ram College, expressed his happiness at the students' success and congratulated all the faculty members, stating that the students of the college are not only excelling academically but also performing brilliantly in other fields, thus bringing glory to Shri Ram College.

On this occasion, Dr. Saurabh Mittal, the Vice-Principal of Shri Ram College, expressed his joy at the students' achievements, saying that this is a matter of great pride for all of us.

Dr. Manoj Dhiman, the Head of the Department of Fine Arts, said that the Department of Fine Arts has consistently remained at the top of the university's merit list for many years, which is a matter of pride and joy for all of us. He added that this success is the result of the students' hard work.
