Annual Sports Competition-2024

Annual Sports Competition-2024 was launched in the sports hall of Sriram College. On the first day of the annual sports competition-2024, which started today, cricket, chess and chess competitions were held. The title of the men's category of Shataranj 2024 was won by Abhishek of Betaik Civil and the title of the women's category went to Nishika of BALLB. Akshay of Polytechnic was victorious in the men's category matches and BALLB's flag was victorious in the women's category.

Like every year, this year too, the week-long sports program at Sriram College's sports ground started with a cricket competition today. Today's first match in the league match was played between the teams of BSC (Basic Science) and BTech. in which the team of Beatac won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, the Basic Science team set a target of 98 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 12 overs. In response, the team of Beatac chased down the target and won by losing 6 wickets. The next political match was played between SRGC and BCA teams. In which the SRGC team batted first and scored 95 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and set a target of 96 runs in front of the opposition team. In response, the BCA team lost 05 wickets and piled on 91 runs. This is how the political SRGC team won from 4 runs. The third match of the competition was played between the team of BSC (Krishvi Vigyan) and BBA. in which the BSC team won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, the BBA team made 67 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 10 overs. In response, the team of BSC came down to chase Rano and took the match by scoring 68 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. The fourth match of the competition was played between BALLB and the journalism and mass communication department's team. in which the BALLB team won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, the team of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication made 59 runs at the loss of 03 wickets. In response, the BALB team scored 60 runs for the loss of 03 wickets and took this match as their own.
