About the Course

Bachelor of Fine Arts is a four-year undergraduate course. The department of Fine Arts was established in our college in 2006. Department of Fine Arts, Shri Ram College is one of the premier colleges for Fine Arts studies in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh India. It is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The four-year course is further divided into other streams- Fashion Designing & Applied Arts. It’s an annual programme.

Objectives of the course

Shri Ram College Fine Arts Departments emphasises on studio practicals, prescribed theory subjects and research in the selected fields. The College teaches both the programmes in order to bond relationship with the up-to-date industry. Along with this, it also adds up extensive student-research development projects, workshops, educational study tours, illustrated lectures/ demonstrations by invited guests, etc., under all the departments of Fine Arts to help students with better learning experiences and future success.
The faculty members of the College belong to several art-practicing professions such as Visual Arts, Fashion Design, Sculpting and Graphic Designing of different streams. Fine Arts departments also facilitates state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities, which include studios, accommodation, laboratories, recreational areas, Graphic lab and, Ceramics, Mural, Print-making, Weaving, Draping Lab, Pattern Making Lab & Illustration lab etc. The students also get opportunities to interact with eminent designers, contemporary artists and entrepreneurs time to time.
The library of the Fine Arts Department offers an extensive collection of more than 2,000 books relating to Fine Arts, History of Arts, Methods and Materials, English, Periodicals, Aesthetics, Visual Communication, Textile, Fashion and much more.

Course Eligibility

The students who have completed their 10+2 studies from any of the recognized institute in any of the stream of Science, Commerce or Arts are eligible to apply to the course. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 45% for Gen/OBC whereas 40% for SC/ST candidates.

About the Course

Masters of Fine Arts is a two-year Master degree course. , Department of Fine Arts, Shri Ram College is one of the premier colleges for Fine Arts studies in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh India. It is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The College offers Master of Fine Art (MFA) in Fashion Design, Applied Arts, Textile Design & Drawing/Painting from 2016. . It is part of the Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) Affiliated to CCS University Meerut. It is a two-year duration course. In which the exam is held semester wise.
